For over 30 years, we have been treating children for speech, language, and orofacial myofunctional disorders.  I have seen my patients grow into adults.  Some of them we keep in touch with to this day.​

We know what works and what doesn't when it comes to therapy.  Because we have watched and seen many of my patients grow up, we know how patients respond to treatment and how avoid relapses later in life.  ​

A child not reaching their speech or language milestones may have problems not related to speech or language.  In addition to speech and language therapy, we are also certified in orofacial myology.  Orofacial myology is the study and treatment of the oral and facial muscles as they relate to speech, dentition, chewing/bolus collection, swallowing, and overall mental and physical health.

Why is this important?  Because the root cause of your child not meeting speech milestones may have nothing to do with speech or language.  It may have to do with your tongue or facial muscles not being able to form words properly.
